CONFERENCE CALL SUPPORT GROUPS

 

FOR HIV POSITIVE WOMEN OF AFRICAN DESCENT!

The goal of the Conference Call Support Group is to provide information, support, and encouragement to women of African descent living with HIV who desire to maintain their confidentiality. The primary moderator is Dawn Breedon.

The call times will be from 6am to 6:45 am on the second and forth Monday of each month and first and third Mondays from 9pm to 9:45.

To access the call numbers you must email: dawn@dawnbreedon.com for an interview or have your case manager email her with a contact number to advocate for you. Any information provided during the interview will be kept confidential. The call is for Women diagnosed with HIV ONLY.

To maintain confidentiality, the protocol for the call is this. When you log on to the call, identify yourself with a first name (does not have to be your own name) and the State from which you are calling.

Various topics for the call will be: Dealing with your Diagnosis, Disclosure: To Family, When Dating and Relationships, Overcoming rejection, Communicating with your healthcare provider, The decision to take medication, and more.

 This Conference Call Support Group is for HIV positive women of African descent and is NOT currently supported by, or affiliated with any private or public organization.

FOR HIV POSITIVE WOMEN WORKING IN THE FIELD!

The goal of the Conference Call Support Group is to provide information, support, and encouragement to women diagnosed with HIV working in the field of HIV. The primary moderator is Dawn Breedon.

The call times will be from 9 to 9:45pm on the first Sunday of each month.

To access the call numbers you must email: dawn@dawnbreedon.com for an interview. Any information provided during the interview will be kept confidential. The call is for Women diagnosed with HIV ONLY.
